These shots were done with just one light – an alien bee 1600. The white light was modified using a shoot through umbrella. Again, as I mentioned in previous posts, I wouldn’t have succeeded as a photographer without the help of my friends. This shoot was from summer 2011, Danijela asked me to take some pictures for her. This photo shoot is from Spring 2012, the first one where I used a backdrop in my home studio. I asked Nafisa if she could help me with a shoot and she was really happy to do so. A few pictures from the shoot:

Back in summer 2011, did this shoot for my friend Cristina. The lighting used here is a single alien bee 1600 modified using an umbrella.

So this goes back to Fall 2010. My friend Ioulia helped me with this; she was the model for the shoot. It takes a lot of courage to spend time to be a model for a photographer who has zero experience in portrait/model photo shoot. Ioulia was my first model. It was close to fall and she agreed to pose for a few shots, I did not have much photo shoot gear other than my Camera and an 85mm f1.8 lens. The lighting I used here is the available sunlight and a DIY continuous light I made from a home depot torch and a shoot through umbrella that acted as a low quality beauty dish. Anyways, below are a few shots from the shoot.
